Mike McGirr, K9AJ, has been very active in the Islands On The Air (IOTA) program for quite a few years. Mike has traveled to many IOTA locations to activate that "rare one" for the rest of the IOTA chasers. In addition to activating those rare ones, Mike has earned a beautiful trophy for confirming 1,000 IOTA locations PLUS endorsements for 1,025, 1,050, 1,075 & 1,100.
