Metro DX Club Meeting Minutes

January 18, 2019

We held our annual Metro DX Club Winterfest on January 18th in lieu of a meeting this month.  32 members and guests gathered at Papa Joe's Restaurant in Orland Park for a nice family style dinner and a chance to mingle with fellow attendees. As in the past, we had enough prizes so that each attendee would win something in our free raffle. This year, we also had 2 grand prizes, a Heil boom set and an Astron power supply.

Jim N9TK began the evening by welcoming the group.

Mark K9TP conducted the dinner prayer.

After dinner, Jim N9TK began the prize drawings. At the end, all the tickets were returned and the grand prizes were drawn.

The balance of the evening was spent mingling with each other.

Thanks to our prize donors: Metro DX Club (Heil Boom Set), N9TK (Astron power supply), ARRL (two 2019 handbooks), DX Engineering, MFJ Enterprises, KB3IFH QSL's, W9ILY,  W9MK.  I've attached a photo of our prize table.
